Ward Choir Practice

It’s that time of year again! The ward choir is beginning preparations for our ward Christmas program, and we have a great lineup of songs planned.

If you’ve ever considered joining choir this is the perfect time to join. We practice every Sunday after church in the chapel, and everyone is welcome, including youth! No previous choir experience or special musical talent is needed—just a willingness to sing and a desire to help bring the spirit of Christmas to our ward.

We’d love to have you join us! I hope to see you tomorrow after church.

Gilbert Temple Grounds Maintenance Opportunity

Monday October 19th

Time:  0800-1100, but we frequently finish by 10a.m. 

Volunteers will be performing work on the outside temple grounds. This will involve some lifting, bending and kneeling. You will be working in the flower garden and other landscape areas. So a little bit rigourous :). Please wear closed toed shoes and bring some work gloves if you have them. Otherwise, some will be provided. The weather may still be a bit warm so please have water bottles for each volunteer.  (35) volunteers is the minimum we need, but we will gladly accept anyone who wants to volunteer. There is no age limit, but please insure that any children who come are accompanied by a guardian. This is a great family event. We realize older kids will likely be in school, but come make it a special morning.
